OnePlus 13 Series Global Launch Scheduled for January 7
The OnePlus 13 series is set for its global debut on January 7, 2025, featuring the highly anticipated OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R smartphones. While the OnePlus 13 has already been unveiled in China earlier, the 13R is expected to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 5, which is likely to launch soon in China. According to the company, the OnePlus 13R will share the same battery capacity as the flagship OnePlus 13, ensuring robust performance and longevity. Alongside the smartphones, a new color variant of the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 true wireless earbuds is also slated for release.
Design and Color Options for the OnePlus 13R
OnePlus has confirmed that the 13R will be available in select global markets, including India. A promotional landing page on the OnePlus India website reveals that the phone will come in a striking Astral Trail shade. Additionally, an Amazon microsite confirms that the device will be available for purchase on the e-commerce platform soon after the launch. The design teaser highlights a sleek and premium aesthetic, aligning with OnePlus’s reputation for stylish yet functional devices.
Key Design Features Teased
The OnePlus 13R closely resembles its sibling, the OnePlus 13, with its bold design language. The smartphone features a large circular camera module housing three sensors and an LED flash, positioned on the upper left corner of the rear panel. The right edge of the handset accommodates the power button and volume rocker, maintaining a clean and ergonomic layout. This design continuity ensures a seamless experience for users transitioning between different models in the OnePlus ecosystem.
More to Look Forward to on Launch Day
In addition to the OnePlus 13R, fans can look forward to a refreshed look for the OnePlus Buds Pro 3, which will debut in a new color option. This update reflects OnePlus’s commitment to enhancing its ecosystem of devices, offering users stylish and performance-driven accessories. With the launch just around the corner, excitement continues to build for what promises to be a significant addition to OnePlus’s product lineup.
