Xiaomi 15 Ultra Launch Date Leaked as Hands-on Video Reveals Familiar Design
Xiaomi’s highly anticipated 15 Ultra is shaping up to be a powerhouse smartphone, packed with cutting-edge features. While Xiaomi has yet to officially confirm a launch date, a company representative recently hinted that the camera-focused flagship is expected to debut in February 2025. A previous leak suggested that the device will sport a unique rear camera setup and is set to launch globally in March at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025. Now, new leaks—including a promotional poster and a hands-on video—have surfaced, shedding more light on the phone’s design and launch timeline.
According to GizmoChina, the leaked promotional poster was spotted on Weibo, adding credibility to rumors about the device’s imminent launch. While the poster’s authenticity remains unverified, its details align closely with previous leaks. In addition to the poster, a short hands-on video has also emerged, giving users a brief look at the rear panel of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The video showcases the phone’s rounded corners, which bear a striking resemblance to its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, hinting at a refined yet familiar design.
One of the most notable changes appears to be in the layout of the rear camera system. Unlike the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which housed its four rear cameras in a symmetrical square format, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a redesigned module. The Leica branding has been repositioned to the top left, while the rumored large 1-inch main camera now occupies the right side. The remaining sensors include two periscope telephoto cameras and an ultra-wide lens, emphasizing Xiaomi’s focus on professional-grade photography.
With leaks continuing to surface, excitement for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is steadily building. If the rumored launch timeline holds true, the flagship device could make its debut within weeks, followed by a global unveiling at MWC 2025. With an overhauled camera system and a premium design, Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship is expected to compete with the best smartphones on the market, particularly in the photography segment.
