Infinix Note 50X 5G Confirmed for India Launch with Android 15-Based XOS 15

Infinix is gearing up to launch its new smartphone, the Infinix Note 50X 5G, in India on March 27. The company has already teased the design of the device, specifically highlighting the rear camera module, but now it has confirmed some exciting details about its software. The Infinix Note 50X 5G will be the first device to come with XOS 15, which is based on Android 15, right out of the box. This marks a significant step forward from the Infinix Note 40X 5G, which shipped with Android 14-based XOS 14 when it launched in August 2024.

XOS 15 brings several new features aimed at enhancing the user experience, focusing on personalization, smoother animations, and more intelligent AI functions. Infinix has shared that users will experience improved customization options, such as customizable icons, which can be adjusted for shape, size, and color. The OS also includes the ability to choose from 25 different font styles, providing even more ways to personalize the device. One of the standout features of XOS 15 is the new boot-up animation, which adds a unique touch to the device right from the moment it’s powered on.

The update also brings some interesting features for users to enhance their home screen experience. With the One-Take Wallpaper and Vogue Portraits features, users can turn gallery images into cohesive wallpapers that can be applied to the home screen, lock screen, and other main screens. This feature aims to give users more control over the aesthetic of their device. Additionally, XOS 15 will include Mobile Anti-Theft, providing an added layer of security to keep personal data safe.

To improve productivity and entertainment, XOS 15 introduces several new tools. The Game Mode, integrated with XArena, is designed to optimize gaming performance with customizable settings. The Dynamic Bar offers a more functional way to view important notifications without interrupting tasks, while the Smart Panel provides easy access to apps and settings. The PC Connection feature will allow for cross-device functionality, such as screen mirroring and simplified file sharing, making the Infinix Note 50X 5G a more versatile device for users who want seamless connectivity across devices.
