Lenovo Launches New Tablet in India Featuring Helio G85 Chipset and 5,100mAh Battery

Lenovo has launched its latest entry-level tablet, the Lenovo Tab, in India, targeting budget-conscious users who want a reliable device for everyday tasks. The tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor paired with 4GB of RAM, delivering smooth performance for browsing, streaming, and light multitasking. It sports a 10.1-inch full-HD display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, ensuring clear visuals for videos, reading, and casual gaming.
The Lenovo Tab is equipped with a 5,100mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging, promising long hours of usage on a single charge. Users can choose between Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + LTE models depending on their connectivity needs. The tablet also includes an 8-megapixel rear camera for capturing photos and video calls, along with a dual-speaker setup enhanced with Dolby Atmos for a better audio experience.
In terms of pricing, the Lenovo Tab is available at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage Wi-Fi variant, while the same configuration with LTE connectivity is priced at Rs. 12,999. The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage Wi-Fi model costs Rs. 11,998. The tablet comes in a Polar Blue color option and can be purchased through Lenovo’s official website, offline retail stores, and various e-commerce platforms.
The launch of the Lenovo Tab coincides with the announcement of the Lenovo Idea Tab, a slightly higher-end model priced at Rs. 16,999 for the base RAM and storage variant. Together, these tablets expand Lenovo’s offerings in the budget and mid-range segment, providing options for different user requirements in India.
