Infinix Set to Showcase AirCharge and Extreme-Temperature Battery Innovations at CES 2024

At the highly anticipated Consumer Electronics Show 2024 (CES), Infinix made headlines by announcing the launch of two groundbreaking technologies: AirCharge and Extreme-Temp Battery. AirCharge introduces a novel approach to wireless charging, liberating users from the hassle of cables and direct contact with charging pads. Operating at low frequencies, this cutting-edge technology enables wireless charging from distances of up to 20 centimeters and angular deviations of up to 60 degrees. On the other front, the Extreme-Temp Battery, a remarkable innovation from the Chinese electronics giant, integrates biomimetic electrolyte and fusion solid-state technology on its electrodes, ensuring functionality even in cold climates. With claims of operational efficiency at temperatures as low as 40 degrees Celsius, this battery technology showcases promising resilience in extreme environmental conditions.

The new AirCharge and Extreme-Temp Battery technologies, developed by Infinix, will be unveiled at the ShowStoppers event during CES 2024, the company announced via a press release. The brand states that the AirCharge technology is a breakthrough in wireless charging. It uses multi-coil magnetic resonance technology and an adaptive algorithm and is claimed to let users charge their smart devices without the need for cables or physically touching the charging pad. This functionality would be convenient for charging devices while playing mobile games and watching videos.

The AirCharge technology allows charging at a distance of 0 to 20 centimetres and is said to work even when the transmit coil and the receiving coil are tilted at an angle of up to 60 degrees. It operates below 6.78MHz and offers charging power up to 7.5W. It is equipped with an end-to-end Resonance and Over Voltage Protection (OVP) circuit for safety.

Infinix is making strides to combat the freezing concerns associated with lithium-ion batteries in extreme weather conditions by introducing its innovative Extreme-Temp Battery technology. This pioneering development integrates biomimetic electrolyte and fusion solid-state technology onto the electrodes, enabling the battery to maintain optimal performance even in temperatures as low as 40 degrees Celsius. The Extreme-Temp Battery boasts an impressive charging temperature range of 100 degrees Celsius (-40°C to 60°C), promising sustained functionality even in the most severe cold environments. This technological advancement represents Infinix’s commitment to ensuring reliable battery performance across diverse and challenging climates.

Set to unfold in the second week of January, the annual consumer technology extravaganza is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas. Amidst a gathering of tech aficionados, Infinix will showcase its cutting-edge advancements, alongside a cohort of other leading electronics brands such as Intel and Asus, all poised to unveil their latest innovations and breakthroughs in the dynamic landscape of consumer technology during this much-anticipated event.
