Powerful Additions: Three New Phones Join Itel Power Lineup, Set to Debut on Amazon in February

Mystery Unveiled: Itel Keeps Names Under Wraps for Three New Power Models Set to Debut in February

Itel is gearing up to unveil new additions to its Power series lineup, with the company confirming the launch timeline for these upcoming models and offering a tantalizing glimpse into their designs through teaser images. The images showcase both the screen and back panel of the models, while a press note provides subtle hints about some of the key features that users can anticipate. The last Power-series model, the Itel P55, made its debut in India back in September 2023. Building on the legacy of its predecessors, the upcoming Power smartphones are expected to bring enhanced features and improvements.

Scheduled for a February release, Itel has officially confirmed the introduction of three new Power series models. Despite this confirmation, the company has chosen to keep the names of the models shrouded in secrecy, leaving enthusiasts to eagerly await the official unveiling.

While specific details remain under wraps, the press note did reveal some noteworthy features. One of the three models is poised to make waves with “a global first Android Version,” strongly indicating the possibility of the Android 14 (Go Edition) making its debut – a version typically associated with budget-friendly smartphones.

Adding to the intrigue, the press note hinted that the second upcoming Itel Power series handset will boast ultra-fast charging capabilities, catering to the growing demand for swift and efficient charging solutions. Meanwhile, the third model is set to introduce an exclusive memory feature, purportedly the first of its kind in India. Despite the tantalizing details, the company has chosen to keep additional information about these handsets tightly under wraps, ensuring an air of mystery and anticipation leading up to their official debut.

Itel, however, shared two teaser images that show the design of the upcoming Power series handsets. The images, carrying the caption ‘Power Play’ also confirm that the phones will be available in India exclusively via Amazon. One image shows the front panel of one of the models.

It is seen with a centred hole-punch slot at the top of the display. Around the cutout, a Dynamic Bar is seen showing charging details. Itel’s Dynamic Bar is similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island that helps show notifications and alerts to users in a compact manner.

In another image shared by the company, the back panel of one of the upcoming Itel Power models is seen with a dual rear camera system placed in slightly raised, separate circular units arranged vertically in the top left corner. It is accompanied by an LED flash unit with the volume rocker and power buttons placed on the right edge of the model.
