Samsung has reportedly launched its new Game Booster+ app for Galaxy phone users, designed to enhance the gaming experience with more customization options. Currently available in South Korea, the app provides several features aimed at improving gameplay and offering more control over gaming settings. The Game Booster+ app is part of Samsung’s Good Lock suite, a customisation platform that allows Galaxy users to access a variety of modules and add functions that aren’t natively included in the phone’s standard feature set.
According to reports, Game Booster+ introduces three notable features for gamers. First, it allows users to remap game controller keys, providing greater flexibility for those who prefer different configurations while gaming. This feature supports up to four distinct profiles, allowing gamers to tailor their controls for different games or personal preferences. The app’s second major feature gives users the ability to adjust GPU settings, with two options—PreTransform and Texture Filter—helping to optimize the performance and visual quality of games on Galaxy devices.
Another key feature of Game Booster+ is the ability to categorize apps as games, even if they aren’t traditionally recognized as such by the system. This functionality enables users to apply the game optimization settings to a wider range of apps, ensuring that non-gaming apps that demand heavy resources still perform at their best. These added functionalities are part of Samsung’s continued effort to offer a more customized and performance-driven experience for mobile gamers.
At the moment, the Game Booster+ app is available for download through the Galaxy Store in South Korea, but there’s no word yet on whether it will be rolled out to other regions.
