Meta AI Introduces New Memory Feature and Personalized Recommendations

Meta has announced new upgrades to its AI chatbot, aiming to provide users with a more personalized experience. The latest enhancements include a memory feature that allows Meta AI to retain specific details shared in individual chats and a personalized recommendation system that tailors suggestions based on users’ social media activity. These features are designed to make interactions with Meta AI more intuitive and relevant, aligning with users’ preferences over time.

In a newsroom post, Meta highlighted how these new features will enhance the chatbot’s capabilities. The company has been testing a memory feature that enables Meta AI to remember details from previous conversations. This means users won’t have to repeatedly provide the same information, making interactions more seamless. The feature is expected to improve over time as the AI learns user preferences and adapts accordingly.

Memory in Meta AI is designed to function only within individual conversations. Users can explicitly instruct the AI to remember certain details, or it can automatically retain relevant information based on interactions. For example, if a user asks Meta AI for breakfast suggestions and specifies that they are vegetarian, the chatbot will remember this preference and only suggest vegetarian meals in future conversations.

The second feature, personalized recommendations, takes this customization further by analyzing user activity across Meta’s social media platforms. By leveraging data from interactions on apps like Facebook and Instagram, Meta AI will be able to provide tailored content suggestions, event recommendations, and product discoveries. With these enhancements, Meta AI is set to offer a smarter, more user-centric chatbot experience.

Meta Introduces AI-Enhanced Backgrounds, HD Video Calls, and New Features for Messenger

Meta Platforms has unveiled several new features for Messenger that aim to enhance the overall experience of both audio and video calls. These updates, powered by artificial intelligence (AI), include AI-generated custom backgrounds, HD video call support, and advanced audio features like background noise suppression and voice isolation. These improvements come as part of a broader initiative to make Messenger more dynamic and user-friendly, building on earlier additions like AI-generated themes introduced in September.

Among the standout new features is the introduction of HD video calls, which will provide users with clearer, higher-quality video during calls. By default, HD calls will be available when connected to Wi-Fi, but users can toggle the feature for use over cellular data as well. This marks a significant upgrade for users seeking a more refined video calling experience, especially for those using Messenger for work or important personal connections.

In addition to visual improvements, Meta has also rolled out advanced audio enhancements. The newly added voice isolation feature helps to separate a speaker’s voice from background noises, ensuring that the conversation remains clear and intelligible, even in noisy environments. Background noise suppression will further eliminate distractions from ambient sounds, making voice communication smoother and more focused. These features can be accessed through the call settings in the app, allowing users to customize their call quality.

One of the most creative additions to Messenger is the introduction of AI-powered backgrounds. Using Meta’s AI assistant, users can generate custom backgrounds during video calls based on simple text descriptions. This feature can be activated via the effects icon during a video call by selecting the “Backgrounds” option, allowing users to inject some fun or personal flair into their calls. Whether it’s for a professional meeting or a casual chat, these new features are designed to elevate the Messenger experience, making calls more engaging and effective.

Messenger introduces shared album creation, HD photo sending, and larger file sharing capabilities

Meta’s announcement on Tuesday introduced several new features to Messenger, aimed at enhancing photo and file sharing within chats. Users can now create shared albums in group chats, allowing them to organize photos and videos more effectively. Previously, users could only view a list of shared photos in a chat without the ability to group or organize them. To create an album in a group chat, users can select multiple photos from the chat composer and tap “create album,” or long-press a photo to create an album. Users can also add photos to existing albums by tapping the “Add to album” option. Devamını Oku
