OnePlus 13T Display Specs Leaked Debut

OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus 13T on Thursday in China as a compact alternative to the flagship OnePlus 13. As anticipation builds, the company has shared key display specifications for the upcoming device. Alongside its impressive Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and large 6,260mAh battery, the phone will also sport a 50-megapixel dual rear camera system and come in three color options.

According to a post on Weibo, the OnePlus 13T will feature a 6.32-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution (1,216 × 2,640 pixels), a 120Hz refresh rate, and a pixel density of 460ppi. The screen will support a wide range of visual standards, including 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HDR Vivid, promising vivid colors and high contrast for an enhanced media experience.

OnePlus says the phone will use a self-developed display production line—the only one of its kind among Chinese phone makers, according to the company. It will include an in-house P2 display chip and incorporate “Bright Eye Protection 2.0” technology to reduce eye strain. Additional screen innovations include a “sun display” mode for better visibility outdoors, as well as Rain Touch 2.0 and Glove Touch, which improve usability in wet or gloved conditions.

Beyond its display, the OnePlus 13T will include a dual 50-megapixel camera setup featuring a Sony sensor, with support for 2x optical and 4x lossless zoom. A dedicated Wi-Fi G1 chip aims to optimize gaming performance. Weighing in at just 185 grams, the device will run ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box, positioning it as a feature-rich yet lightweight flagship alternative.

OnePlus 13T to Feature a 6,260mAh Battery in a Sleek, Compact Form

The OnePlus 13T is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the compact flagship category, marking the brand’s return to a segment dominated by companies like Samsung, Google, and Oppo. Slated for launch in China on April 24, the OnePlus 13T is expected to be priced around Rs. 70,000, placing it in direct competition with other premium compact devices. However, OnePlus might launch the 13T at a more competitive price point to capture consumer attention, which could mean fewer cameras compared to current compact flagships like the OnePlus 13.

One of the standout features of the OnePlus 13T is its impressive battery capacity. Confirmed by OnePlus’ China head, Louis Jie, the upcoming smartphone will come equipped with a 6,260mAh battery. This is a significant upgrade compared to many compact devices in this range, offering users the convenience of all-day usage without worrying about frequent charging. According to Jie’s Weibo post, the OnePlus 13T will provide enough power for daily tasks without the need for a power bank or using power-saving modes.

Battery life tests shared by OnePlus indicate that the 13T outperforms other compact flagships in various scenarios, including GPS navigation and other demanding tasks. Interestingly, the OnePlus 13T’s battery efficiency is even comparable to that of the much larger iPhone 16 Pro Max, showcasing how OnePlus has managed to optimize battery life despite the phone’s compact dimensions. This makes the OnePlus 13T an appealing option for users who want a powerful phone in a smaller form factor.

The OnePlus 13T is said to use Glacier Battery technology, which could be a reference to the silicon-carbon batteries increasingly found in Chinese smartphones. This technology enhances the battery’s energy density, allowing it to hold a higher capacity without increasing the size of the battery. Additionally, it supports faster charging, further improving the overall user experience. On the performance side, the OnePlus 13T is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, ensuring smooth performance across tasks. With a 6.32-inch flat display, narrow bezels, and a fresh design, the OnePlus 13T is poised to offer both a compact and powerful package.

OnePlus 13T to Feature Compact Flat Display and Customizable Shortcut Key, Company Confirms

The upcoming OnePlus 13T is generating buzz ahead of its official launch, with the company confirming several key features that will set it apart from other devices in the OnePlus lineup. In a recent Weibo post, Louis Lee, the President of OnePlus China, shared some exciting details, including the fact that the OnePlus 13T will sport a compact, flat display. This could be a major selling point for users who prefer smaller, more manageable smartphones without sacrificing performance. The device is expected to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, offering an immersive experience in a smaller form factor compared to the larger OnePlus 13, which has a 6.82-inch screen.

In addition to the sleek display, OnePlus is also introducing a new customizable shortcut button on the 13T, which will be located on the left spine of the device. This new button is expected to replace the traditional alert slider found on previous OnePlus models, offering users the flexibility to assign different system actions to it. Whether it’s toggling between apps or adjusting settings, this button is poised to bring a more personalized touch to the OnePlus experience.

The shortcut button will allow users to easily switch between various system functions, such as mute, vibration, and bell modes, but it doesn’t stop there. According to Lee, the button will also feature a “very interesting function,” though details on this feature remain under wraps for now. This adds an element of intrigue, suggesting that the button might offer more advanced capabilities that haven’t been fully revealed yet.

This move aligns with OnePlus’ ongoing efforts to cater to user preferences by adding more customization options and streamlining the user experience. The combination of a compact display and a customizable shortcut button reflects the company’s dedication to offering a flagship experience that balances power, usability, and innovation. Fans of smaller form-factor phones with high-end specs will likely find the OnePlus 13T to be a promising new addition to the market.
