PCs Branded With Intel Evo Edition Will Provide A Real-World Battery Life Of 10 Hours And Enhanced Web Cameras

Laptops bearing the Intel Evo Edition will be equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra processors.

Intel at its “AI Everywhere” event gave us a sneak peek at its new Intel Evo Edition platform, built on top of the newly announced Intel Core Ultra processors. With the latest standard, Intel is further pushing the envelope in terms of overall user experience on a Windows-powered ultrabook laptop.

A laptop with Intel Evo Edition branding promises to offer a more streamlined user experience across the brands with similar user experience on various form factors. Besides, Intel also includes an upgraded Intel Unison, which enhances the compatibility between a PC and a smartphone, running on either the Android or iOS platform.

Intel Evo Edition laptops will include a sticker, which helps differentiate between regular notebooks with the Intel Core Ultra CPUs and the Evo Edition certified machines. The company also claims that an Evo Edition-certified laptop will run cooler, quieter, and will be more responsive. On top of that, these machines can instantly wake from sleep mode in less than 1.5 seconds. They will also support fast charging and offer at least 4 hours of battery life with just 30 minutes of charging.

Additional criteria for eligibility for the Evo Edition branding encompass top-notch cameras meeting or exceeding the VCX camera matrix standard of 32. This signifies that an Intel Evo Edition-certified laptop will feature an improved web camera with higher resolution, minimal noise, and superior color accuracy. Regarding connectivity, it will boast compatibility with Wi-Fi 6E and an advanced connection manager.
