According to the sources, Apple is currently in the testing phase of a battery for the upcoming iPhone SE 4, internally referred to as D59. Remarkably, this battery is said to mirror the one featured in the iPhone 14, a flagship model launched by Apple in the previous year. The iPhone 14 lineup comprised the standard iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max, alongside the more budget-friendly iPhone SE (2022).

Allegedly, Apple is contemplating a shift to a battery size similar to the one powering the iPhone 14, a departure from the smaller batteries characteristic of previous SE models.
