Honor Teases Magic V6 in Bold Red Finish, Highlights Reinforced Hinge Durability

Honor is gearing up to introduce its next-generation foldable smartphone, the Honor Magic V6, as the successor to last year’s flagship foldable. The company previously launched the Magic V5 in select global markets, and now it has confirmed that its upcoming book-style foldable will make its global debut just ahead of MWC 2026. The launch event is also expected to showcase other innovations, including the brand’s Robot Phone and its first humanoid robot, signaling Honor’s broader push into futuristic technology.
Days before the official unveiling, Honor has teased the design of the Magic V6, revealing a striking new red colourway. The device appears in what the company calls the “Red Rabbit” shade, paired with a premium gold-coloured metal frame. The rear panel showcases a prominent circular camera module, which houses a triple-camera setup along with a dual LED flash. Honor branding is subtly placed at the bottom, while the camera island is said to feature an “octagonal dome” design element for added visual distinction.
The teasers also highlight the phone’s slim hinge mechanism, with Honor strongly emphasizing improved hinge durability. The foldable appears to maintain a sleek and refined profile, with relatively thin display bezels that enhance its modern aesthetic. On the front, the Magic V6 is shown with a centered hole-punch cutout, likely accommodating the selfie camera for video calls and photography. The power button and volume rockers are positioned on the right side of the frame for easy access.
While Honor has officially confirmed that the Magic V6 will launch in China soon, the complete specifications and hardware details remain undisclosed. However, with its bold new finish, upgraded hinge construction, and refined design language, the Honor Magic V6 is shaping up to be a major contender in the premium foldable smartphone segment. More details are expected to surface as the global unveiling date approaches.
