Honor X70i Debuts with Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC and 108MP Camera: Full Specs and Pricing

Honor has introduced the X70i smartphone in China, positioning it as an updated version of the recently launched Honor 400 Lite, tailored for the domestic market. The new handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, accompanied by an IMG BXM-8-256 GPU, which together aim to deliver a smooth and efficient performance for daily tasks and media consumption. The phone is fitted with a large 6,000mAh battery that supports 35W wired fast charging, offering long-lasting usage with relatively quick top-ups. On the imaging front, the X70i features a single 108-megapixel rear camera, providing high-resolution photography capabilities in a minimalist camera setup.

The device continues Honor’s push in its home market, becoming the fourth phone the brand has unveiled in China within April alone. It follows the recent launches of the Honor Power, Honor X60 GT, and Honor GT Pro, marking a notably active product cycle for the company. This momentum appears to be a strategic move to cater to a wide range of consumers, from power users to budget-conscious buyers looking for value-packed mid-range options.

In terms of pricing, the Honor X70i starts at CNY 1,399 (approximately Rs. 16,000) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is also available in two higher-tier configurations: a 12GB + 256GB model priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 20,000) and a 12GB + 512GB variant for CNY 1,899 (around Rs. 22,000). The phone is available in multiple color options, though the company has yet to detail the specific shades.

The Honor X70i sports a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 × 2,412 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz, ensuring crisp visuals and smooth scrolling. The screen also delivers up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness, making it easily viewable even in bright lighting conditions. Running on MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15, the device promises a modern software experience out of the box. With its balanced combination of performance, battery life, and camera capabilities, the Honor X70i strengthens the brand’s foothold in the mid-range smartphone segment.
