Incentives for Early Buyers: Possible Pre-Order Bonuses Await Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Customers
The forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 series, slated for an unveiling on January 17, has been the subject of numerous speculations, offering insights into the potential features of the upcoming flagship devices. Recent leaks have indicated notable enhancements in video recording capabilities across the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra models, coupled with enticing pre-order incentives.
Notably, predictions suggest that the standard models might hit the market at a slightly lower price point compared to their predecessors. Conversely, expectations hint at a potential price increase for all storage variants of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Adding to the buzz, Walmart inadvertently unveiled the Galaxy S24+ on its online platform, while Samsung’s retailers in Brazil have commenced teasing campaigns in anticipation of the imminent launch.
Renowned tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) shared insights on X (formerly Twitter), underscoring that Samsung intends to price the flagship Galaxy S24 series slightly lower than initially anticipated. Additionally, reports suggest an ample stock of Galaxy S24 and S24+ units, reflecting the company’s optimism regarding the forthcoming models. Furthermore, whispers about the Galaxy S24 series embracing HDR photo viewing capabilities have added to the anticipation surrounding these devices.
In a separate disclosure, Ice Universe hinted at the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s potential to record videos at an impressive 4K resolution with a staggering 120 frames per second (fps). By comparison, the current Galaxy S23 Ultra offers support for both 8K and 4K video recording, with limitations set at 30fps for 8K videos and 60fps for 4K videos. This speculated upgrade in the Ultra variant’s video recording capabilities showcases Samsung’s intent to push the boundaries of smartphone videography in the upcoming release.
Additionally, a post by the South Korean blog Naver says Samsung will provide pre-order bonuses for early buyers of Galaxy S24 Ultra. Like previous times, early adopters could receive higher storage variants of the phone at no extra cost. Additional pre-order bonuses are said to include discount coupons for the Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Buds FE.
Meanwhile, Walmart has accidentally listed the Samsung Galaxy S24+ ahead of the rumoured January 17 debut. The listing shows the handset in an onyx black shade with 12GB of RAM. The screenshot of the e-commerce listing shared by PhoneArena reveals AI-powered features of the handset — Live Translate, Generative Edit, and Nightography Zoom.
The Walmart listing suggests a 6.7-inch display for the Galaxy S24+. This is an upgrade over the 6.6-inch screen on the Galaxy S23+. It is seen with a 4,900mAh battery.
Furthermore, tipster CID (@theonecid) on X claimed that Samsung retailers in Brazil had started posting promotional posters of the Galaxy S24 Ultra ahead of the announcement. A leaked poster shows a quad rear camera unit and a colour-matched S Pen.
