OnePlus Buds Pro 3 comes in two stylish finishes: Lunar Radiance and Midnight Opus.
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 were officially launched in India on Tuesday, expanding the company’s portfolio of true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds. These earbuds feature an ergonomic in-ear design with silicone ear tips for a secure fit and come housed in a compact, pebble-shaped charging case with a leather-patterned plastic finish. The Buds Pro 3 stands out with its dual-driver setup, comprising an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter, each supported by a dedicated dual digital-to-analog converter (DAC) to deliver high-fidelity audio with rich bass and crisp highs. The earbuds also support advanced features such as active noise cancellation (ANC) of up to 50dB, which effectively blocks out ambient noise for an immersive listening experience.
Dual-Device Connectivity and Enhanced Audio Experience
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 supports dual-device connectivity over Bluetooth 5.4, allowing users to seamlessly switch between two paired devices, such as a smartphone and a laptop. This feature is particularly useful for those who need to manage multiple devices simultaneously. Additionally, the earbuds are equipped with the LHDC 5.0 audio codec, which ensures high-resolution audio streaming with minimal latency, making them ideal for music enthusiasts and gamers alike. The earbuds also come with adaptive ANC that adjusts noise cancellation levels based on the surrounding environment, providing a personalized listening experience.
Battery Life and Charging Capabilities
When it comes to battery life, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 offers impressive longevity. The earbuds alone provide up to 10 hours of playback time on a single charge with ANC turned off, and the charging case extends this to a total of 43 hours. With ANC enabled, the earbuds deliver up to 6.5 hours of continuous playback. The charging case supports fast charging, giving users 10 hours of playback time with just a 10-minute charge. This makes the earbuds a convenient choice for users who are always on the go.
Pricing and Availability in India
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 are priced at Rs. 11,999 in India and are available in two sophisticated color options — Lunar Radiance and Midnight Opus. These colorways cater to different style preferences, with Lunar Radiance offering a more understated look and Midnight Opus providing a sleek, classic appearance. The earbuds are competitively priced in the premium TWS market segment, targeting users who seek a balance between high-quality audio performance and affordability.
Sales Channels and Launch Date
OnePlus has confirmed that the Buds Pro 3 will be available for purchase starting August 23, 12 PM IST. They can be bought from the official OnePlus India website, Amazon, Flipkart, and authorized retail outlets across the country. To encourage early adoption, the company might offer limited-time discounts or bundled offers with its smartphones and other accessories.
Future Prospects and Compatibility
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 are compatible with both Android and iOS devices, although some features like the advanced codec support and customizable sound profiles work best within the OnePlus ecosystem. With their blend of premium features, competitive pricing, and robust battery life, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 could become a strong contender in the Indian TWS market, particularly among users who already own OnePlus devices.
