Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Xiaomi 15 With Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC Debut in India: Price and Features Revealed

Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and the standard Xiaomi 15 in India, marking the arrival of its flagship smartphones in the region. Both models are powered by the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, offering powerful performance coupled with up to 16GB of RAM. The devices feature Leica-backed rear camera modules, a 32-megapixel selfie camera, and run on Android 15 with the HyperOS 2.0 skin on top. Additionally, both phones are IP68-rated, ensuring water and dust resistance. While the Xiaomi 15 Ultra was first introduced in China earlier this year, the Xiaomi 15 made its debut alongside a Pro variant in October 2024.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is priced at Rs. 1,09,999 for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage version. Early buyers will enjoy additional perks, including a free Photography Kit Legend Edition and an instant discount of Rs. 10,000 when paying with an ICICI Bank card. The Photography Kit, priced at Rs. 11,999, includes a USB Type-C camera grip, a 2,000mAh battery, and a detachable shutter button. Pre-booking for both phones started on March 19 and runs until April 2, with a brief early access sale taking place on March 11. The devices will be available for purchase through Amazon, Xiaomi’s official e-store, and select offline retailers. The base Xiaomi 15 comes in Black, Green, and White color options, while the Ultra variant is offered exclusively in a sleek Silver Chrome finish.

Both models boast impressive displays. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a 6.73-inch WQHD+ LTPO AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1,440 x 3,200 pixels, offering a 120Hz refresh rate, a 300Hz touch sampling rate, and peak brightness of 3,200 nits. The screen is protected by Xiaomi Shield Glass 2.0 and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. For added visual comfort, the display is TÜV Rheinland-certified for low blue light, circadian-friendly, and flicker-free use.
