MSI Unveils Claw Handheld Gaming PC Featuring Intel Core Ultra Processor and 16GB RAM: Price and Specifications

The MSI Claw, recently launched and now available for purchase in the US and select markets, marks the brand’s foray into the handheld gaming arena. Unveiled initially at CES 2024 in January, it enters a competitive landscape alongside contenders like the Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go, targeting gamers seeking portable gaming solutions.
The base model, A1M-052US, is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 5-135H processor and operates on Windows 11 Home. Additionally, two higher-end variants powered by the Core Ultra 7 processor are set for release on March 12.
In terms of pricing and availability, the base variant of the MSI Claw, A1M-052US, featuring the Core Ultra 5 chip and 512GB SSD storage, carries a price tag of $699 (approximately Rs. 57,793) in the US market.
Meanwhile, the A1M-051US and A1M-050US variants, boasting the Core Ultra 7 chipset with 512GB and 1TB SSD storage, are priced at $749 (about Rs. 61,933) and $799 (approximately Rs. 66,067), respectively. Presently, the base model is available for purchase in a singular Black colorway through the MSI store in the US and select retailers in other regions.
The Galaxy M15 5G supports dual SIM (nano), runs on Android 13, and features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) Super AMOLED display with up to 90Hz refresh rate, 800 nits brightness, and a Vision Booster feature. It has an octa-core unnamed chipset under the hood. It could be a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
Samsung’s Galaxy M15 5G has a triple rear camera camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel shooter. For selfies and video chats, it has a 13-megapixel front camera.
Connectivity options on the Galaxy M15 5G include 5G, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, and virtual proximity sensor. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication.
