Lenovo Legion Tab Debuts in India: Features Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and 2.5K Display

Lenovo Legion Tab boasts an 8.8-inch QHD+ display with a resolution of 1,600 x 2,560 pixels

Lenovo has launched its latest Android tablet, the Lenovo Legion Tab, in India on August 13. The device, which had its pre-orders open a few weeks prior, offers a compelling package for gaming and multimedia enthusiasts. The Legion Tab features an 8.8-inch QHD+ display with a resolution of 1,600 x 2,560 pixels and supports a 144Hz refresh rate, promising a smooth and immersive visual experience.

Under the hood, the Lenovo Legion Tab is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM. This combination ensures robust performance, whether for gaming, multitasking, or media consumption. The tablet also includes 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB with a microSD card, providing ample space for apps, games, and media files.

The Lenovo Legion Tab sports a 13-megapixel main rear camera, which should offer decent performance for photography and video recording. For power, the tablet houses a substantial 6,550mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, allowing users to quickly recharge and minimize downtime between gaming sessions or other activities.

In terms of pricing, the Lenovo Legion Tab is available in India for Rs. 39,999. This price is for the single configuration of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is offered in a single Storm Grey color option and will be available for purchase starting August 15 through Lenovo’s website, Flipkart, and other retail outlets. Pre-orders began in July, and Flipkart has been actively accepting orders for the device.

The tablet runs on Android 13 and features Lenovo’s PureSight gaming display technology. The display is designed to deliver a pixel density of 343ppi and has a TUV Full Care 2.0 certification, ensuring it meets high standards for visual quality and eye comfort. The screen covers 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and offers a peak brightness of 500 nits, which should enhance visibility in various lighting conditions.

With its high-refresh-rate display, powerful processor, and large battery, the Lenovo Legion Tab aims to cater to users looking for a high-performance tablet for gaming, streaming, and other demanding tasks. The inclusion of expandable storage and fast charging further adds to the tablet’s appeal, making it a versatile choice in the competitive tablet market.
