Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025: Where to Watch and What’s Coming
Samsung is set to host its highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event today (January 22) in San Jose, California. This marks the company’s first major launch of the year, with the next-generation Galaxy S25 series expected to be the highlight. As the successor to last year’s Galaxy S24 lineup, the new flagship devices are expected to introduce performance upgrades, improved cameras, and refined designs. Additionally, Samsung may unveil more details about Project Moohan, its upcoming extended reality (XR) headset, which could mark its entry into the immersive technology space.
How to Watch Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025
The event will kick off at 11:30 PM IST (1:00 PM EST) and will be livestreamed on Samsung’s official website, YouTube channel, and social media platforms. As in previous years, the Galaxy S25 series is expected to debut in three variants: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. These devices are rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, featuring 12GB of RAM as standard and Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays for enhanced visuals.
Expected Features and Design Changes
Leaked specifications suggest that the Galaxy S25 will pack a 4,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature 4,900mAh and 5,000mAh batteries, respectively. The Ultra model is expected to undergo the most significant design overhaul, reportedly moving away from the boxy shape seen in recent generations in favor of a more rounded aesthetic. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 and S25+ may retain their existing designs, with minor refinements.
Pricing and Pre-Reservations
Samsung has already started accepting pre-reservations in India via its official website, Samsung Exclusive Stores, and other retail outlets for a token amount of Rs. 2,000. As for pricing, the Galaxy S25 is rumored to start at EUR 909 (approximately Rs. 81,000) for the 128GB variant, while the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra may be priced at EUR 1,159 (roughly Rs. 1,03,500) and EUR 1,459 (around Rs. 1,30,300), respectively. With Samsung focusing on AI-powered enhancements, camera improvements, and a potential leap in XR technology, this Unpacked event promises to be one of its most exciting yet.
