Apple iPhone 17 Air Dummy Surfaces in Sky Blue Finish
Apple is gearing up for the expected September launch of its iPhone 17 lineup, which could bring a notable shake-up to the company’s smartphone portfolio. The series is rumoured to include four models — iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Among them, the iPhone 17 Air is tipped to be a new addition that may replace the existing Plus models. In the run-up to its unveiling, leaks about the Air variant’s design, specifications, and colour options have steadily surfaced online.
A new video shared by tipster Majin Bu (@MajinBuOfficial) has now revealed a dummy unit of the iPhone 17 Air in a striking “Sky Blue” colourway. The video showcases the device from multiple angles, suggesting that Apple could be drawing design inspiration from the 2025 MacBook Air M4’s Sky Blue finish. If accurate, this would mark a subtle shift away from Apple’s recent trend of muted tones, leaning toward brighter and more expressive colour palettes.
The dummy unit also highlights the design elements Apple may adopt for the Air. The phone features a single rear camera inside a pill-shaped housing, a power button on the right, and another flush button beneath it, which could serve as a dedicated camera control button — similar to what Apple introduced with the iPhone 16 series. On the left edge, the volume rockers are visible alongside an Action Button, adding to the device’s functionality.
As for colour choices, the iPhone 17 Air is widely expected to launch in four options: Black, Light Gold, White, and Light Blue (likely branded as Sky Blue). With a sleeker design and this fresh set of colours, the model could give buyers a more stylish mid-tier alternative in Apple’s 2025 iPhone lineup.
