Oppo unveiled the Find X9 series in China on October 16, introducing the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, both powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipsets. The series has generated significant buzz, and attention is now turning to a potential third variant, reportedly called the Find X9 Ultra, which is expected to launch later this year. Recent leaks suggest that this upcoming flagship could set a new benchmark for battery capacity among Ultra-branded smartphones, giving it a competitive edge over rival flagship models.
According to tipster Smart Pikachu, the Find X9 Ultra may feature the largest battery in the Ultra lineup or among comparable flagship devices. While the precise capacity has not been confirmed, Oppo’s prior statements hint at a minimum 7000mAh battery, in line with the company’s motto that “no 7000mAh, no flagship.” Such a large battery would appeal to users seeking extended usage for gaming, multimedia, and productivity without frequent charging interruptions.
Another tip from Digital Chat Station suggests that the Find X9 Ultra’s battery could fall somewhere between 7000mAh and 8000mAh, further highlighting Oppo’s push to prioritize endurance in its flagship offerings. Combined with the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, this would make the X9 Ultra a powerhouse for both performance and longevity, catering to high-demand users and tech enthusiasts alike.
Beyond battery capacity, rumors also point to Oppo exploring ultra-thin designs for future models, suggesting a balance between large battery packs and sleek form factors. If realized, the Find X9 Ultra could deliver both impressive endurance and premium aesthetics, reinforcing Oppo’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of flagship smartphone design in terms of both performance and user experience.
