Long-press the ‘scan any QR’ option on GPay to create a QR code scanner shortcut on your smartphone’s home screen.
This shortcut opens the camera, scans QR codes, and enables users to make payments to supported UPI QR codes from third-party partners. To receive a payment to your GPay account, click on the QR code logo in the top right corner, swiftly opening your personal QR code linked to your GPay account.
For those with eligible Rupay credit cards, UPI payments can be made using the same option by clicking on the relevant payment option available in the GPay app.
This feature is immensely helpful for individuals making at least five UPI payments daily, saving time and streamlining the process. Additionally, each payment requires PIN-based authentication, alleviating concerns about potential misuse of the feature.
Samsung Smartphone Users Can Also Enjoy Similar Convenience with Samsung Pay, Enabling UPI Payments, Credit, and Debit Card Transactions. Additionally, Adding Digital Credit and Debit Cards to GPay Facilitates NFC Payments at Establishments That Do Not Accept UPI Payments.
