The much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S24 series is poised to make its grand entrance at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for January 17. Despite Samsung’s efforts to keep a tight lid on its flagship lineup, the complete specifications of the Galaxy S24 series have been leaked, giving enthusiasts a sneak peek into the impressive features. Notably, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ are expected to offer a choice between the Exynos 2400 chip and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, with the specific chipset depending on the region. In contrast, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is anticipated to exclusively feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 across all markets.

The leak, originating from the German publication WinFuture.de, provides a comprehensive breakdown of the Galaxy S24 series specifications. According to the leaked information, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ will be equipped with the Exynos 2400 chipset in European regions, while other markets will see the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. On the other hand, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is set to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC universally. In terms of memory, the regular Galaxy S24 is expected to offer 8GB of RAM, while the top-tier models will boast an impressive 12GB of RAM.

 

 

For display, the Galaxy S24 is rumored to feature a 6.2-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1,080×2,340 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Storage options for this model are speculated to range from 128GB to 256GB. Camera enthusiasts can anticipate a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor offering 3x optical zoom with an additional 30x Space Zoom capability. To keep the lights on, the Galaxy S24 is rumored to house a robust 4,000mAh battery. The leak sets the stage for an exciting Galaxy Unpacked event, where Samsung will officially unveil its latest flagship series to the world.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24+ is said to carry a 6.7-inch (1,440×3,120 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED display with refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. It could come in 256GB and 512GB of storage options. The handset is said to get the same triple rear camera setup as the Galaxy S24. It could be backed by a 4,900mAh battery

Finally, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which will be the top smartphone in the lineup, is tipped to feature a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display. It could be offered in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage options with 12GB RAM as standard. The phone is expected to have a quad rear camera setup, led by a 200-megapixel primary camera. The rear camera unit is also said to include a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, a 50-megapixel telephoto shooter with 5x optical zoom, and a 10-megapixel telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom support. The handset might offer 100x Space Zoom support. It is likely to have a Titanium frame and pack a 5,000mAh battery.

The Galaxy S24 series is expected to be unveiled on January 17 during the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung has already started accepting reservations for the new lineup.
