Innovation Unleashed: Infinix Set to Reveal AirCharge and Extreme-Temperature Battery Technologies at CES 2024

Revolutionizing Charging: Infinix’s AirCharge Tech Promises True Wireless Charging at a Distance of Up to 20 Centimeters

In a groundbreaking announcement, Infinix is set to introduce two cutting-edge technologies — AirCharge and Extreme-Temp Battery — at the highly anticipated Consumer Electronics Show 2024 (CES). AirCharge, one of Infinix’s revolutionary innovations, redefines wireless charging by allowing users to charge their smart devices wirelessly over the air, eliminating the constraints of cables and physical contact with a charging pad. Operating at low frequencies, AirCharge facilitates wireless charging at distances of up to 20 centimeters and angular deviations of up to 60 degrees, offering a new level of convenience and flexibility.

On the other hand, the Extreme-Temp Battery, another technological marvel from the Chinese electronic brand, incorporates biomimetic electrolyte and fusion solid-state technology on the electrodes. This advanced battery design enables seamless functionality in cold environments, with a remarkable performance guarantee at temperatures as low as 40 degrees Celsius.

Infinix has chosen the prestigious CES platform to unveil these cutting-edge technologies, with the official showcase taking place at the ShowStoppers event during CES 2024, as detailed in the company’s press release. AirCharge, with its multi-coil magnetic resonance technology and adaptive algorithm, represents a significant leap forward in wireless charging.

This technology promises users the ability to charge their smart devices effortlessly, without the need for cables or physical contact with the charging pad, offering unparalleled convenience for tasks like gaming or watching videos while charging. The CES 2024 unveiling of these innovative technologies underscores Infinix’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of technological possibilities and enhancing user experiences in the world of smart devices.

The AirCharge technology allows charging at a distance of 0 to 20 centimetres and is said to work even when the transmit coil and the receiving coil are tilted at an angle of up to 60 degrees. It operates below 6.78MHz and offers charging power up to 7.5W. It is equipped with an end-to-end Resonance and Over Voltage Protection (OVP) circuit for safety.

Further, Infinix aims to address the lithium-ion freezing issues in extreme cold and hot conditions through its Extreme-Temp Battery technology. The company says it has incorporated biomimetic electrolyte and fusion solid-state technology on the electrodes and this would allow the battery to perform well even at temperatures as low as 40 degrees Celsius. With a charging temperature range of 100 degrees Celcius (-40°C-60°C), the Extreme-Temp Battery is said to function even in the harshest cold environments.

The annual consumer technology show will be held in Las Vegas in the second week of January. Besides Infinix, several electronics brands including Intel and Asus will show off their latest innovations during the event.
