Poco has officially confirmed that the Poco M8 5G will make its debut in India soon, gradually revealing key details ahead of the launch. While the company is yet to disclose core specifications such as the processor, battery capacity, charging speed, and full camera configuration, it has been actively teasing the handset’s design and form factor. The brand is positioning the device as a standout option in its category, with a strong focus on slimness and lightweight build.

According to Poco, the upcoming Poco M8 5G will feature an ultra-slim profile measuring just 7.35mm in thickness and will weigh approximately 178g. With these dimensions, the company claims it will be the slimmest and lightest smartphone in its segment. Early visuals suggest the phone will adopt a sleek, curved frame that may use a metallic finish, contributing to its premium look and feel.

Design teasers indicate that the Poco M8 5G could sport a textured rear panel with a slightly raised camera island. The rear camera housing appears to be squircle-shaped and centrally aligned, giving the device a symmetrical aesthetic. The handset is also expected to come with a curved display, while the power button and volume rocker are positioned along the right edge of the frame, leaving the left side clean.

In terms of imaging, Poco has confirmed that the smartphone will include a 50-megapixel AI-enabled primary camera as part of a triple rear camera setup, accompanied by an LED flash.
